missed0pportunity asked: So i'm not sure what you like to do so i'll leave a large amount of ideas:

1. Find a sport you like and stick to it. Find others who play and play with them.

2. Cooking. I love to cook and i find that when i cook, it takes my mind off of everything. Be sure to try to cook new things. Whenever i learn how to cook something really well, i feel like it's too easy so my thoughts wander since i don't have to pay attention as much. New ideas take more concentration.

3. Read books or watch movies/tv. Be sure what you're watching or reading won't have a chance to remind you.

4. Exercise. i suppose this is similar to sports, but just more general. When i workout, especially running, i usually don't think about anything other than running. This is also healthy so it's a win-win situation.

5. Video games. Find something you like. It doesn't have to be a shooting game, there are plenty of other genres that you might like.

6. Pick up a new hobby. Some ideas might be gardening, knitting, and drawing. There are plenty of others but those come to mind first.
